Good businesses are being left out of the answer.
For twenty years the rules were clear: rank on Google, run the ads, win the click. Businesses that did the work were found. Then the way people choose changed. Over half of UK shoppers now ask an AI assistant before they buy, and the assistant doesn't show ten links — it gives an answer, with names in it.
The unfair part is that the names aren't always the best businesses. They're the ones the machines can read, verify and find talked about elsewhere. A brand with better products, better reviews and better service can be invisible in that answer simply because its website doesn't explain itself and nobody has written about it in the places AI reads.
We've watched that happen to businesses we admire. AIxprt exists to fix it — properly, measurably, and without the tricks that get sold as "AI SEO".
